To ensure an exact match, we use a combination of the following methods:

• The vehicle’s colour code, found on the VIN plate
• A Spectrophotometer to precisely read the colour
• The technician’s trained eye to identify discrepancies and fine-tune the match

If the car has sun fading or features a limited-edition colour that proves difficult to match with just the code and Spectrophotometer, we rely on traditional methods. This involves mixing and spraying multiple test panels until we achieve a flawless colour match we are satisfied with.

Yes, we can fit and install a body kit that you’ve purchased. However, it’s essential to ensure compatibility with your vehicle’s make and model. Some body kits may require additional modifications for proper fitment. We recommend reaching out to our team to assess the components and discuss the best approach to installation. We can also advise if any additional components are needed.

If you’ve purchased a body kit from an online store or third-party supplier, it’s a good idea to consult with us beforehand. This way, we can ensure the kit fits securely, aligns correctly, and is finished to a high standard-transforming your car exactly as you envision.

Rust removal can be covered by your insurance if the rust was caused by a previous repair job that was already claimed under your policy. This could include repairs such as smash repairs or windscreen replacement, even if they were completed several years ago. If these initial repairs led to rust or became affected by rust, the insurance will cover the rectification work.

However, this is only applicable if your insurance provider offers a lifetime warranty on the repairs. You’ll need to check whether your policy includes this coverage to be eligible for such a claim.

What to do if your Windscreen is leaking

Leaking windscreens need to be dealt with urgently to avoid costly damage to your vehicle’s dashboard, electrical components, mould occurring in the AC, and rust forming in the frames and footwells. Steps to take:  

1. If possible, locate the source of the leak.  
2. Take photos of the leak/ affected areas and upload on our Assessment tool below. Please indicate your vehicle has a leak so our team can prioritise your vehicle. 
3. Prevent further damage by avoiding to drive the vehicle and/or store it undercover away from rain. 
4. If possible, apply waterproof tape over the affected area without obstructing the driver’s line of sight.

How do I lodge a claim with my insurance?

Lodging a claim is easy, simply:

1. Call your insurance & provide your policy number or Registration details
2. Provide incident details (where/ when/ what)
3. Provide contact details of anyone involved
4. Designate Dynamic Autobody as your repairer

Once your claim has been submitted, please contact our team and provide your claim number. We will manage the remainder of the process on your behalf.
